To Enter Alpha State of Mind

We can treat / cure our illness with right focus. Practice: we need 15 minutes loneliness time. Sit in a comfortable position (beta state). Relaxing beta state is possible with deep breathing (2 minutes) and we will be moving towards alpha state. 
Now close your eyes. With closed eyes look into forehead. Brain starts generating alpha waves. Moving deeper is opposed by our thoughts. Put your brain in struggle / effort. Reverse counting 100, 99, 98, 97 .... is an example. Now no thoughts are there to come. This is alpha state (sleep). Now use affirmations. I am the reliable, trustworthy ... person. I am happy and living in the present moment. Win or lose has no importance for me. Now brain is listening and will start work accordingly.
Slowly reverse back into your beta (action) state. Slowly start opening eyes. Repeating affirmations. Practice with repetition, it helps.

Problems distract us. It challenges the control of our mind. Our mind is very powerful weapon.

When we are about to sleep, this is alpha state. The mood at that time influences sleep. If the mood was great in alpha state, we get up fresh in the morning and vice versa is true also. Mind relies on alpha state.

How To Achieve Zero Thought State
We don't put our full focus on a beautiful scene, person or event. This is due to a tiny habit developed within our brain. Can we see with absolute clarity? Thoughts present obstacle to look attentively. When we see a red flower, we may see white color also in it but we don't. When we observe an object, we just attach few words to it and that's it. This observation is not observation. Red flower is an example. These two words abandoned you to see more. Another example: my name, religion, student, businessman. These are just words, not our introduction. These words become barrier and stop us to know more. We stop on the word mountain, when we see a mountain. We stop observing the mountain. We start focusing on word, not on object. Reality is different than words. 

The Zero Thought Gamma Mind State
Researchers studied on monks. Keeping them in a cold place and putting a wet cold cloth on them. Due to zero thought state, signs of full heat and vapors and steam were seen there. In meditation, we control our thoughts. When we get on next level of meditation, our thoughts are controlled without any effort, that's zero-thought level. There was a time, nobody could believe in cell phone but now this is a reality. Same is the case of zero thought level condition. Monks warm their clothes with zero thought brain energy. Power of healing, telepathy are the examples. It's all thought-based techniques. 3:30
Some people make them fly in the air. It's unbelievable for many people. Meditation helps you to more understand about yourself. Once you learn what zero thought state is and how you can achieve that through meditation then it will become a normal practice for you.

We are mostly in Beta state of mind. Here mind is active. 20-40 minutes. Next is Alpha. Close to sleep (slumber, half sleep). 8-15 minutes. Thita state (fully sleeping, dreams). Wave speed 8 per minute. Delta State (faint). 8 hours sleep contains 2 hours this state. 
Alpha state is link state. Intentionally we can go into alpha state. 3:20
