Good Deed and Evil Deed

Al-Mu'minun (The Believers) 23:96

ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ

بری بات کے جواب میں وہ کہو جو بہتر ہے ہم خوب جانتے ہیں جو یہ بیان کرتے ہیں

Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Acquainted with the things they utter.

Fussilat (Explained in Detail) 41:34

وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ

اور نیکی اور بدی برابر نہیں ہو تی (برائی کا) دفعیہ اس بات سے کیجیئے جو اچھی ہو پھر ناگہاں وہ شخص جو تیرے اور اس کے درمیان دشمنی تھی ایسا ہوگا گویاکہ وہ مخلص دوست ہے

The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e., Allâh orders the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily! he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.
